My name is Sarah Recht and I am excited and blessed to be a part of the CELA family. I grew up in a small town called Edgar in central Wisconsin. After graduating high school in 1999, I moved to Mequon to attend college. I graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2003 with a Bachelors Degree in Education, focusing on mathematics.
I truly love math and being able to convey the importance of math in everything around us. My belief is that students learn the best being able to explore as they learn as well as practice. I spent 12 years teaching math at the high school level - focusing on Algebra and Geometry before coming to CELA in 2016. I am so thankful for the opportunity to work in a Christian setting where I can help foster the Christian values that I was raised with. I am eager to help prepare your children for success in high school while helping to foster a love of God in their hearts.
Currently, my family and I live in Menomonee Falls, I am married to my wonderful husband, David, and have 2 amazing children (Aaron and Grace). Outside of work I enjoy spending time outdoors, watching and attending Milwaukee Brewers games, photography, live music and anything that allows me time with my family.
I am honored to be able to be part of such a great team at CELA. The opportunity to work in a school that focuses on such high educational standards and emphasizes the importance of Christian values and leadership is uplifting. I know that God is leading us to do great things here.
