Hello! My name is Kathy Monis, and I’m so excited to be part of the CELA family. I grew up in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, where I graduated from high school in 1989. I went on to earn a one-year diploma in Child Care Services from Waukesha County Technical College.
I have a deep love for children, which has guided me through over 30 years of experience in roles such as Child Care Center Director, Summer Camp Director, YMCA Workshop Instructor, Preschool Assistant, and Elementary Instructional Assistant. I’m passionate about nurturing children’s growth, supporting their development, and assisting teachers with daily activities to create a positive, engaging environment.
My husband and I live in Hartland, Wisconsin, and we have three amazing children who keep us busy with their many activities. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering at church, going to sporting events, hiking, listening to live music, and camping in our RV.
