God truly blessed me by bringing me to such an amazing school like CELA! For me, teaching is generational, both my grandmother and mom are in education, and there is nothing that I desire more than to not only teach children academics, but also to teach them about the love that Christ has for them.
I’m a local girl who grew up in Mukwonago. Growing up, I enjoyed (and still enjoy) doing anything outside. In High School I participated in music, theater, and was active at my church. In college, I spent my summers and winters working at Camp Timber-Lee in East Troy teaching Science and playing my bass. Since graduating from Carroll University in 2013, I have taught a variety of grade levels and directed the Children's Ministry at a local church.
In my time outside of school, my favorite activities include running, spending time with my family, and petting every dog that I meet. I also enjoy volunteering at my church as a leader in the High School Ministry.
“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord has given me--the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace.” Acts 20:24.
