- Master’s Degree in Music Performance from Northwestern University
I grew up knowing I wanted to be a teacher, until I learned to play an instrument that is! I feel so blessed to be able to combine my two dream careers in fulfilling my role as the Music Director at CELA. My vast experience in teaching vocal, instrumental and general music in a nurturing, Christian community will allow me to bring the best instruction to my students.
I grew up in Appleton Wisconsin participating in every performance opportunity available through the Lawrence University campus. When I graduated high school, I received a federal scholarship to study abroad for a year in Germany as an exchange student. This experience allowed me to become fluent in German and taught me so many valuable lessons. After returning to the states and spending over a decade living out in California, I’m so excited to be back with my family in Wisconsin. When I’m not at CELA you can find me out hiking and living life through the lens of photography.
