I am excited and blessed to be able to serve our students, families, and teachers here at CELA through a variety of roles within academics, leadership, and faith. I have a deep passion for helping guide and design learning experiences that allow for each student and teacher to deepen their knowledge and uncover the opportunities that are in front of them. At CELA the focus on character development through learning, leadership, and Christian values provides us all with guidance to excel and grow in our faith.

Professionally I have had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles within education over the past twenty years. I have worked with and supported public, private, charter, and magnet schools with a focus on improving the learning experience and the outcomes for each student. I am excited to be part of a school that challenges each student on an individual basis in the areas of academic excellence and ongoing leadership experience while also instilling an understanding of values and putting that understating into practice on a daily basis. To be part of a community that is caring, mission and faith driven, while striving for excellence is an amazing opportunity.

Personally, I have a wonderful wife who has been a teacher for twenty years. We have been blessed with two wonderful girls who are still wonderful as they enter their teenage and middle school years. Outside of work our days are busy as a family supporting our daughters in their passions, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Outside of family I enjoy running and keeping my mind healthy through continually learning and growing in my faith.

I love working with students. I love supporting families. I love working with teachers to do amazing things for the students they serve. I am grateful for the path that has led me to be able to serve at CELA and am looking forward to helping grow CELA’s Three Pillars of Academic Excellence, Christian Values, and Leadership Development.
