2012 – BA in Business Administration from St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI
6 Years Experience in Business-Related Marketing, Social Media, and Community Relations
My name is Brigette Baudhuin, and I am thrilled to join the CELA staff as Director of Community Relations! I cannot wait to meet all of the wonderful people who surround CELA.
Originally from Door County, WI, I am the oldest of three daughters to my awesome parents. I am very close with my family, and spend as much time as possible with them, whether that is at my parents’ home in Brussels, WI or at our cabin on Chambers Island near Fish Creek. After graduation from Southern Door High School in 2008, I continued my education at St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI, where I was recruited to play basketball.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 2012, with an English minor, and upon graduating took a job with Krueger International (KI) in Green Bay, WI as an Inside Sales associate. I remained in De Pere, WI for 18 months, and then moved to Milwaukee, WI to work for Duet Resource Group as a Sales Associate, continuing to sell furniture for KI. Fun note: some of the furniture here at CELA is from my previous company! While at Duet, I had the opportunity to wear many “hats,” including social media, marketing, event planning, software implementation and training, order entry, manufacturer relations, and more. This position gave me a great insight into where my passions lie—social media, marketing, and community outreach and events!
After 3 years at Duet Resource Group, I felt I needed a change, so took a job at a start-up benefit and payroll administration software company called zizzl, LLC. I was the Director of Business Development while at zizzl, and collaborated with our staff on a multitude of projects from sales planning, marketing campaigns, social media accounts, event attendance, corporate sponsorships, and communications.
I jumped at the opportunity to join CELA’s amazing staff, as I felt that the background I have been blessed to build can only help serve CELA’s mission to help students and the community here in Pewaukee. I cannot wait to help spread the word about all of the amazing achievements we have already accomplished at this school!
