NetSupport School
This software allows for the interactive flow of dynamic content across the student computers, teacher computer and the Promethean ActivPanel. It allows teachers to see all of the children’s answers and ideas without sharing the information between students. By picking out the right answer and best comments the teacher is able to select the correct students to share their answers and ideas promoting active student participation and collaboration. The reward is to encourage every student to actively participate in their learning and to build each student’s self-image.
Lesson Capture
Lesson Capture is the dynamic video capture system that records teacher-selected classroom teachings of the children by their own teacher as well as the live interaction of the teacher and class as they work together to learn. Each selected recorded lesson is archived within CELA’s network, and students can access and view the videos from any CELA device at any time. Each video is also indexed so that students can search for specific terms within a video. Based on the student’s individual assessments, they can review the sections that they were not proficient in or did not fully comprehend. Based on class assessment, the teacher can supplement any area that needs further clarification and add teaching material for that skill. The time saving and power of this technology in improving the teaching and the learning of children is unbelievable.
